The FEI-NHA LLC Joint Venture (JV) is an SBA-approved mentor-protégé relationship. FEI Systems (FEI) serves as the mentor and Neil Hoosier & Associates, Inc. (NHA) serves as the protégé and assumes managing partner responsibilities. The JV leverages proven processes developed by both companies for our other Federal contracts to deliver high-quality solutions that are on time and within budget. Our JV is fully supported and led by senior executives with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
FEI-NHA LLC serves as an innovator to our Federal clients by applying state-of-the-art tools and techniques. This allows agencies to maximize the value of their information technology-enabling systems. We have developed open source, business intelligence, visualization, mobile applications, and telepresence solutions for our clients. We leverage these and more for our contracts.
FEI Systems, a graduated SBA 8(a) small business, has maintained a successful long-term partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) providing extensive health-related information technology (IT) expertise, knowledge, and mission support. FEI has captured 14 tasks orders under this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle and is widely considered a reliable, high quality, and leading small business partner for NITAAC. FEI has over 50 active concurrent contracts for government health and healthcare IT programs. Our clients include a variety of organizations including federal, state, local, international, and other medical and research institutions. We have a demonstrated and proven commitment to the CIO-SP3 objectives and, as FEI-NHA LLC, we will continue to promote the vehicle and its mission.
FEI provides substantial IT services throughout HHS providing extensive health-related IT expertise, knowledge, experience, and mission support services in a variety of technology domains. Within the HHS family of agencies, we support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the HHS Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). FEI supports the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Connected Health Office, providing high quality, effective, and timely support for mobile platforms and cloud computing initiatives with software, engineering, and clinical services designed to support point of care service delivery throughout the VA’s health care network. In addition, FEI offers the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Business Intelligence and Reporting support to the Public Health Information System.
For federal and state agencies, FEI delivers IT services in areas such as behavioral health, Medicare, Medicaid, and numerous safety-net programs. We have an extensive geographic presence supporting work on three continents, in 30+ states, and in far-reaching locations such as China, Palau, American Samoa, Hawaii, and Alaska. FEI has strong relationships with excellent medical and research institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, Case Western Reserve University, Yale, RTI International, and Westat.
FEI has established the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 20000-1:2011 certification and CMMI Level 3 appraised processes that have been applied successfully throughout the federal government.
Neil Hoosier & Associates (NHA) is a small, SBA 8(a)-certified, minority-owned business. NHA has delivered high-quality health care program solutions to the public and private sectors for 20 years. NHA provides robust and tailored services including program management and integration; change and release management; audit and oversight; outreach, education, and training; Tier 1 Help Desk and production support; and business analysis to solve our clients’ complex problems.
NHA has a long-term relationship with and deep experience providing technical solutions for the federal government, particularly for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The organization has extensive experience and expertise with CMS and the Medicare Part A, B, C, and D Program.
